A Legacy of Support

For more than three decades, the Hansel Auto Group has been a steadfast supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs. That enduring partnership has helped shape countless young lives and strengthen the communities we call home.

The Hansel family’s connection to the Club began in the late 1980s with a simple visit that left a lasting impression.

“I was invited to tour the Petaluma Clubhouse back in the late ’80s,” recalls Henry Hansel. “I saw kids who were being given a safe space to learn, grow, and just be themselves.” As a community member, Henry knew the importance of being part of our mission. According to Henry, “Supporting the Club felt like investing in the future of our town.”

Investing in Impact

That initial spark evolved into a decades-long legacy of support, one that now continues with Justin Hansel, who shares his father’s commitment to giving back and creating opportunities for young people.

“Over the years, we’ve watched the Club grow—not just in size, but in impact,” says Justin Hansel. “From expanding into new communities to offering innovative programs, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin continue to meet kids where they are and help them thrive. What keeps us involved is seeing the real, tangible difference the Club makes in young lives.”

We’re incredibly grateful to Justin, Henry, and the entire Hansel Auto Group for their steadfast support over the years. Their investment has helped us grow stronger, reach farther, and serve more kids with programs that inspire confidence, leadership, and hope.

Hansel Golf Challenge

One of the ways Henry and Justin Hansel champion our mission is through the annual Hansel Golf Challenge. Now entering its 35th year, the tournament is officially sold out and will return Friday, August 15, 2025. Last year, more than 120 golfers helped raise over $88,000 to support academic success, leadership development, and wellness for Club youth. We’re excited to build on that momentum and make this year’s sold-out event the most impactful yet!

Thank you for being champions for youth—and for showing what long-term commitment to community truly looks like.
