Paul Forgue: A CFO with a soft spot for kids and community

Paul Forgue

When your new board member used to volunteer at a hospital as a teenager, you know you’ve got someone who sees beyond spreadsheets.

Originally from Oklahoma, Paul brings his financial know-how and steady leadership to MarketCast, LLC, where he serves as Chief Financial Officer. Now he's also lending his time and talent to the Boys & Girls Clubs as a board member. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Dallas and an MBA from Rice University, but what really stands out is his decade-long service as a Trustee for The Healdsburg School. That kind of dedication to kids and education speaks volumes about what matters most to him.

We asked Paul a few questions to get to know him better.

What values did your family or upbringing pass on to you that still guide you today?
“Growing up, my family emphasized integrity, hard work, and service to others. Those values have shaped my approach to both personal and professional life, and continue to guide my decisions and actions.”

When did you first understand what it meant to give back or be part of a community?
“I first understood the importance of giving back when I volunteered at a local hospital as a teenager. Seeing the impact even small efforts could have on others made a lasting impression and instilled a sense of responsibility to contribute where I can.”

Why do you think a place like Boys & Girls Clubs would have mattered to you as a kid?
“Having a supportive environment outside of home and school would have made a big difference for me. A place like Boys & Girls Clubs offers mentorship, structure, and opportunities that help kids build confidence and find their path.”

Paul and his wife, Laura, have three kids of their own and understand firsthand the importance of safe, supportive spaces for youth. Now, he’s channeling his experience and passion into helping Boys & Girls Clubs do what they do best, create opportunities for the next generation.
